Taken from the unapproved minutes of the regular meeting of City Council, City of Scobey, Montana held Wednesday, November 17, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall.

REGULAR MEETING

Mayor Danne Showers called the meeting to order with councilmen Jon Baker, Scott Fishell, Morgan Lekvold and Paul Landeraaen present. Also, in attendance were Chad Hanson PE Great West Engineering, Mikel Lund Daniels County Commission, Tom Loftsgaard, Fire Chief Wyatt Wilder, City Attorney Ben Fosland, Public Works Director Steve Berreth and Clerk Sonya M. Southland.

Public Comment – Chad Hanson PE with Great West Engineering, updated on the Water Main Replacement Project. He reported Phase 1 is essentially done, final

paperwork is being completely. Tetra tech is still here working on the removal of any asbestos concrete pipe from dirt piles at the Pioneer Town. Mayor Showers reported the Leader will be doing a story on the asbestos concrete issue. The Leader will be speaking to Anderson & Wood, Tetra Tech and Great West Engineering. At this time, Anderson & Wood is still moving dirt and Tetra Tech is inspecting pipe. For Phase 2, C& C Excavation is getting ready for a winter shut down and taking the last of the temp water down.
