The Slipper Slips Into History (For The Time Being?)

The initial notice placed in the Daniels County Leader newspaper was the March 4, 2021 issue. It stated: “The [Farver Farms] COOKHOUSE is FOR SALE and will be closing April 1st if a buyer can’t be found!”

There were some nibbles but in the end, nobody was willing to take the big bite.

The April 1, 2021 deadline came and went a week ago and now the restaurant/ bar, for a long time called The Slipper, is closed as of Wednesday, March 31.
