BASKETBALL — Spartans are the gift that just keeps on giving: They were in it to win it but didn't, so they brought home the next best thing. “They” would be a major portion of the 2020-21 Scobey boys' basketball team, the two-time defending Montana Class C state champions who are riding a Montana High School Association 54-game winning streak through this offseason. The event was the 6th annual Missouri River Shootout in Bismarck and Mandan, North Dakota on April 16-18 featuring 154 total teams, with 24 teams competing in the 11th/12th grade boys division the Spartans were in.
