MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSION ERS OF DANIELS COUNTY, MONTANA, HELD JUNE 7, 9, AND 21, 2021.
REGULAR MEETING
June 7, 9 o’clock a.m.
The Board met in regular session, Commissioner Humbert, Commissioner Lund and Commissioner Linder were present with the clerk.
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Commissioner Linder made a motion to approve the agenda, Commissioner Lund seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.
Commissioner Lund made a motion to approve the May 2021 minutes, Commissioner Linder seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.
The Board approved payroll dated May 31, 2021.
Board approved JV# 8366 The Board reviewed the officer reports for May, 2021.
The Board approved Treasurer’s Securities from Independence Bank-Scobey for April 2021.
The Board reviewed the paperwork for the Coronavirus Local Recovery Fund monies distributed directly from the US Treasury Department. It was decided to wait until the next meeting (June 21st) to sign and send in the request.
The Board met with Terry Forchuk regarding mowing the courthouse lawn. It was determined that he needed a contractor’s license.
Craig Miller, Road Supervisor, met with the Board regarding various road matters.
The Board held a hearing on Resolution 2021-6 creating a county road beginning at a point on State Highway 511 approximately one-quarter (1/4) mile east of the southeast corner of Section 6, Township 37 North, Range 50 East, thence west a distance of approximately three-quarters (3/4) of a mile along the boundary line between Sections 5 and 8 and Sections 6 and 7 of said Township and Range to the southwest corner of the southeast quarter of said Section 6, thence in a southwesterly direction for approximately 3/16 mile to intersect with a county road established by road petition no. 278, said road is hereby declared a county road and open for public travel. Ken Oster was is attendance. Commission Lund made a motion to adopt resolution 20166, Commissioner Linder seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.
