BOARD OF TRUSTEES SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1 DANIELS COUNTY, MONTANA

REGULAR MEETING Open Session: August 9, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. in the Music Room

MembersPresent: Jesse Cole, Tim Tande, Matt Stentoft and DuWayne Wilson Administrative Staff Present:

Greg Hardy, Superintendent;

Caitlin Buer, Principal; Colleen Drury, District Clerk

Others Present: Shalice Maldonado, Marlys Farver, Adam Christie and Trevor Manternach Chairman Jesse Cole called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. Roll was taken and it was established that a quorum was present. Chairman Cole recognized Patrons & Visitors. Marlys Farver addressed the board during public comment regarding the entire school saying the Pledge of Allegiance every day at school.

Informational: There were no Informational Items.

On motion by Matt Stentoft and seconded by DuWayne Wilson, the minutes from the July 19, 2021 Regular meeting was approved unanimously as presented.

Staff Reports: The Superintendent report was discussed and is attached and made a part of these minutes by reference.

Finance Committee: Matt Stentoft reported that the finance committee met and reviewed the line item budget and the proposed district budget and will have recommendations during the Annual Budget Meeting.

Finance: On Tim Tande and seconded by DuWayne Wilson, Claims #17454 - #17479, excluding claim #17451, dated July 16, 2021 – August 5, 2021 in the amount of $111,694.29, were ap proved unanimously as presented.

On motion by Tim Tande and seconded by Matt Stentoft, the Activities Report for the month of July, 2021 was approved unanimously as presented.

New Business: Matt Stentoft moved to allow Scobey Booster Club to sell 50/50 tickets at home football and volleyball games for the 2021 season. DuWayne Wilson seconded and all present voted in favor.
