Governor Visits, Hears Alarming Economic Stories

Montana Governor Greg Gianforte paid a visit to Daniels County Wednesday, September 29, and spent the mid-to-late afternoon hours visiting with the owners of

two Scobey businesses. GovernorGianforte,inhis

first year of being the State of Montana’s top executive after spending a pair of 2-year terms as the state’s at-large Congressman in the U.S. House of Representatives (2017-20), began his daylong northeastern Montana swing by flying into Sidney. He was joined by Melissa Zeiler of Sidney, who is one of his Economic Development Specialists, and a few other aides who did the rest of trip by on-the-ground vehicles.
