Airplane Crash
Kills Tjomsland–
Details were received last Sunday by Art Hanson, notifying him that Ernest Tjomsland had been killed that afternoon when his plane, a PT-23 crashed about a half mile from the airfield at Deer Park, WA.
The 40 year old Flaxville farmer and aviation enthusiast was found in the wreckage of the plane shortly after the crash. Ice conditions on the wings are believed to have been the cause of the fatal crash.
