The vast majority of the people who live in and around Daniels County know the Scobey Lions Club raises a lot of money every year and then donates it right back into the community to various causes (like that $5 grand donated to the Scobey school for LED lighting in the gym!). While recently looking over the Choteau Acantha (Montana) weekly newspaper there was an advertisement on page five paid for by the Choteau Lions Club. It talked about the club’s Trip-of-the-Month Vacation Giveaway fundraiser, where 10 great vacation packages would be won by somebody who purchased a ticket or take a $1,000 cash award instead. It’s what the Choteau Lions Club does with the annual profits that is most impressive.
