Lady Spartans Have Two Games To Go Before It’s Tourney Time
A mere two games remain in the 2021-22 regular season for the Scobey varsity girls’ basketball team before it heads south to Wolf Point for the District 3C Tournament set for February 16-19.
The Spartans (9-7, 602-503, 37.6-31.4) are scheduled to play at the Nashua Porcupines (10-6, 643-641, 40.1-40.0) Friday, February 11 (JV 3 p.m., V 6 p.m.) and at the Wolf Point Wolves (11-5, 887-701, 55.4-43.8) Saturday, February 12 (JV 1:30 p.m., V 4:30 p.m.).
Both games are scheduled to be aired live on Scobey radio station KCGM
95.7 FM.
In the first go-round this season in Scobey the home team prevailed 47-28 against the Porcupines and 43-38 against the Wolves.
The Spartans won one of their three games in last weekend’s action.
At Dodson Thursday the third, a makeup game postponed by the Coyotes on January 22 due to health issues, it was knotted at 13 through 8 minutes of action.
