Noticed in the February 17, 2022 issue of the

Sheridan County News weekly newspaper based in Plentywood was a short, two-paragraph article in the page 2 Area News And Notes column (similar to the page two *T*I*P* section in the Leader ) concerning employment opportunities in the northwest North Dakota. More specifically it was the three-county area of Divide (Crosby county seat), McKenzie (Watford City) and Williams (Williston) counties, a high-production oil/natural gas area of the Bakken Formation. Those three counties had 1,148 job openings in December 2021.
