City of Scobey Council has, due to various complaints from citizens, identified as many as 20 buildings as non-compliant concerning Ordinance No. 22-01.

The ordinance is not only

about aesthetic appearance but safety and welfare in the community.

Most of the complaints

about blighted, dangerous and abandoned properties that have been identified are primarily in the residential

areas.
