Lions Will Take Present Census of Scobey–
Uncle Sam says Scobey’s population was 1311 in 1940. Estimates of the state unemployment compensation commission state this year the city is 1,500.
Scobey Lions decided to count noses and find out for themselves. Chet Solberg, club president, named Otto King, Howard Schaefer and Ray Bakke as a committee to conduct the census.
All But Two Rural Schools Fully Staffed– The majority of rural schools in Daniels County now have complete teaching staffs. Dodd and Pleasant View schools still need teachers, Mrs. Alma Shipstead...
