Farm Home Destroyed By Fire–

Garfield Wilson, prominent farmer of the Scobey community is in the Clinic Hospital here with severe burns on his face and two hands–and lucky to be alive–as the result of a fire at his farm Monday which completely destroyed the modern home. His lung condition is cause for concern.

The accident occurred when Mr. Wilson was in the basement attempting to start an auxiliary engine for electric power. There was no wind that day to turn the windcharger. The basement was in flames as a live wire from the engine ignited the gasoline fumes.
