Taken from the unapproved minutes of the regular meeting of City Council, City of Scobey, Montana held Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall.

REGULAR MEETING

Mayor Morgan Lekvold called the meeting to order with councilmen Seth Axtman, Paul Landeraaen and Jon Baker present. Councilman Scott Fishell was absent.

Also, in attendance were City Attorney Ben Fosland (8:36 a.m.), PWD Steve Berreth and Clerk Sonya Southland.

Public Works Report – PWD Steve Berreth reported:

• The city crew wired the frost-free hydrants closed adjacent to the fairgrounds per Councils order • The Pool is being filled for the winter

• Councilman Baker said he has had requests to trim trees – can the crew cut down or trim trees that are blocking the street lights – City crew doesn’t have the equipment or expertise to do this.

Zoning Administrator Report –Administrator Steve Berreth reported the Zoning/ Planning Commission met and recommended to Council to change the west side B Street from R-2 to R-3 to include Blocks 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 28 of the Oie Amendment.
