MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DANIELS COUNTY, MONTANA, HELD JANUARY 3, 4, AND 17, 2022. EMERGENCY MEETING JANUARY 12, 2023.

REGULAR MEETING

January 3, 9 o’clock a.m.

The Board met in regular session, Commissioners Lund, Linder and Humbert were present with the clerk, Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Commissioner Lund made a motion to appoint Gary Linder as chairman of the Board, Commissioner Humbert made a motion that nominations cease, all present voted in favor, motion passed to close nominations, voting Gary Linder to be chairman, all voted in favor, motion passed. Commissioner Linder made a motion to appoint L. Lee Humbert, as vice chairman of the Board, Commissioner Lund seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Commissioner Lund made a motion to approve the agenda, Commissioner Humbert seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

The Board reviewed Resolution 2023-1, setting Commissioner meeting dates and times. Commissioner Lund made a motion to approve Resolution 2023-1, Commissioner Humbert seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

The Board reviewed Resolution 2023-2, setting incarceration rates for 2023 calendar year. Commissioner Humbert made a motion to approve Resolution 2023-2, Commissioner Lund seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

The Board reviewed Resolution 2023-3, setting county per diem rates for travel for county business. Commissioner Lund made a motion to approve Resolution 2023-3, Commissioner Linder, seconded the motion, Commissioners Linder and Lund voted in favor, Commissioner Humbert voted against this because of the statement that alcohol is not reimbursable expense, motion passed.

Commissioner Lund made a motion to set the hearing setting county office hours for January 17 at 10:00 a.m., Commissioner Humbert seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.
