BASKETBALL - How long has this been going on (Part 2): In the January 26, 2023 issue of the Leader readers were informed when the last time Nashua defeated Scobey in boys' basketball after winning 46-44 in Scobey Friday, January 13, 2023. The answer was January 11, 2014, meaning Scobey's streak against Nashua ended at 17. Fast forward to Friday, February 3, 2023 when the Spartans traveled to Whitewater for a District 3C game against the North Country Mavericks, the cooperative-agreement squad consisting of players from Saco, Whitewater and Hinsdale.
