MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DANIELS COUNTY, MONTANA, HELD FEBRUARY 6, 7 AND 21, 2023. EMERGENCY MEETING FEBRUARY 2, 2023.

EMERGENCY MEETING

February 2, 11:30 o’clock a.m.

The Board met in emergency session. Commissioners Linder, Humbert and Lund were present with the clerk and County Attorney Olson.

The meeting was called to order.

Logan Olson, County Attorney informed the Board that Sheriff Anderson has been officially charged with official misconduct by the Montana State Attorney General's Office. County Attorney presented resolution 20236, placing Sheriff Anderson on administrative leave without pay pending final judgment. Com missioner Lund made a motion to approve resolution 2023-6, placing Sheriff Anderson on administrative leave without pay pending final judgment, Commissioner Humbert seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

REGULAR MEETING

February 6, 9:00 o’clock a.m.

The Board met in regular session, Commissioners Linder, Humbert and Lund were present with the clerk.

The meeting was called to order.

Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Commissioner Lund made a motion to approve the agenda, Commissioner Humbert seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Commissioner Humbert made a motion to approve January 2023 minutes. Commissioner Lund seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

The Board approved JV#s 8499, 8500, 8502-8504.

The Board reviewed the officer reports for January 2023.

Ben Lee Danelson was going by and the Board asked his opinion on whether he preferred a new pit or transfer station. He preferred a new pit.

Commissioner Linder was granted permission to leave the state.

J. Perry Wolfe, agent for MACo Insurance presented the acknowledgement form to the 2023-2024 renewal for property and casualty trust insurance.
