BASKETBALL— EastCTournamentTeamselections for girls: The coaches competing in the East C Divisional Tournament in Wolf Point voted on what players should be the Most Valuable Player and who should be on the All-Tournament teams. Whitewater junior Paige Wasson of the North Country Mavericks was voted the Most Valuable Player when helping her team place first. She averaged 21.3 points per game in three contests by scoring 18 against MonDak in the first round, 21 against Culbertson in the semifinals and 25 against Plentywood in the championship.
