Rasmus Nelson Will Construct New Building–

Construction will begin on a new brick and tile structure for Rasmus Nelson Implement firm in Scobey as soon as the frost goes out of the ground. Estimated cost is about $40,000 for a single story structure. The proposed new building will rise in the vacant area on the north side of the present buildings on the northeast corner of Main and 3rd Ave. Whitetail Votes Special Levy For High School– Voters of School District No. 6 (Whitetail) voted 44-4 in favor of a proposed special levy of 20 mills to maintain (re-open) the high school in the town of Whitetail. Lester Marriage was re-elected to the board of trustees. Since 1943 high school students of Whitetail and Redstone have been attending the Flaxville High School.
