Taken from the unapproved minutes of the regular meeting of City Council, City of Scobey, Montana held Tuesday,May9,2023 at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall.

REGULAR MEETING

Mayor Morgan Lekvold called the meeting to order with councilmen Scott Fishell, Seth Axtman, Paul Landeraaen and Jon Baker present. Also, in attendance were Sheriff Mona Vines, Undersheriff Clint Lowe and Shauna Lowe, City Attorney Ben Fosland, PWD Steve Berreth and Clerk Sonya M. Southland.

Public Works Report – PWD Steve Berreth reported:

•The rental equipment has arrived to spread gypsum

• Garage doors will be installed on the new building this week – consensus was to bid out for an electrician and plumber next. 80 feet of the new shop will be concreted leaving 20 feet for cold storage • The sewer service line at 405 Mill St. has been dug up and replaced. The sewer service line was orange berg pipe that had collapsed causing the backups. This is the homeowner’s responsibility.

• Public works Employee whom has been out due to an injury is scheduled to be back May 15th
