City Business . . .

Taken from the unapproved minutes of the regular meeting of City Council, City of Scobey, Montana held Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall.

REGULAR MEETING

Mayor Morgan Lekvold called the meeting to order with councilmen Scott Fishell, Seth Axtman, and Jon Baker present. Councilman Landeraaen was absent.

Also, in attendance were Fire Chief Wyatt Wilder (8:42), City Attorney Ben Fosland (8:35),PWD Steve Berreth and Clerk Sonya Southland.

Public Works Report – PWD Steve Berreth reported:

• Should have all the gypsum ordered delivered by the end of the week.

• Discussed sidewalks on Mill St. settling in numerous places and what to do about it.

Discussed the water project, the engineers the import fill used and well as the soil conditions. Consensus is to ask the engineers if a final warranty inspection was completed and to direct public works to make repairs to sidewalks that have sunk due to the water main replacement project as called/needed on Mill Street, even though the warranty repair ti...
