Taken from the unapproved minutes of the regular meeting of City Council, City of Scobey, Montana held Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall.

REGULAR MEETING

Mayor Morgan Lekvold called the meeting to order with councilmen Scott Fishell (8:35), Paul Landeraaen, Seth Axtman, and Jon Baker present. Also, in attendance were City Attorney Ben Fosland, PWDSteveBerrethandClerk Sonya M. Southland.

Open Bids - Installation of Concrete Floor and Installation ofPlumbinginNewShop One bid was submitted including both projects. Mayor Lekvold opened the sealed bid from Leibrand Construction Inc. for both the concrete floor and plumbing for the new shop at $98,643.00.

Public Works Report – PWD Steve Berreth reported:

• Golf Course Rd is bladed and gravel added. Councilman Fishell suggested the city dig the trench for a culvert to be installed in the landfill road as a city/county project.

• All new sprinkler heads have been added to the pivot along with repairs to the pump; now operational.

• City has been asked to sell the screener used to screen the sand to sand the streets; consensus was not to sell.

• There is concern about grass being blown ...
