Taken from the unapproved minutes of the regular meeting of City Council, City of Scobey, Montana held Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall.

REGULAR MEETING

Mayor Morgan Lekvold called the meeting to order with councilmen Scott Fishell, Paul Landeraaen, Seth Axtman, and Jon Baker present. Also, in attendance were Arlene Kegley, Joan Bjarko, Tanner Trower (8:45 a.m.), Judge Jerod Nieskens, John Leibrand, Shandy Moran, Burl Bowler,Andi Berry, Fire ChiefWyattWilder, City Attorney Ben Fosland (8:35 a.m.), PWD Steve Berreth and Clerk Sonya M. Southland. Public Hearing – Community Development Needs – Mayor Lekvold opened the public hearing and reported last November, the DC Chamber held a re-imagining rural session where citizens could express community needs. A new hospital was listed as a need.
