CROSS COUNTRY — It would have been one cool course: This photo was taken Tuesday, August 8, 2023 on the Fairview Lift Bridge over the Yellowstone River at Sundheim Park in North Dakota, 2.5 miles east of Fairview and where the Warriors host their cross country meet. In the background is the west entrance to the Cartwright Tunnel where Great Northern Railway trains traveled through. Built between 1912 and 1913 mostly by hand with the help of mules and horses, it is 1,456 feet long, 22 feet wide and 24 feet high.
