Gyda Haugo 1941-2023

Gyda Haugo was born to Fred and Carol Gellerman in Rapid City, South Dakota on May 10, 1941. She joined her four year old sister, Gail.

She welcomed another sister, Kris, five years later. Childhood was an idyllic time going to the park, playing baseball with the neighborhood boys, and enjoying the Black Hills.

Gyda attended Rapid City schools, graduating in 1959. That year she was also the homecoming queen.
