Disaster Averted At Davis Farm After Fire Breaks Out– Tommy Davis and his combining crew pulled out of the field Tuesday evening at the old Stalder place which Davis purchased from Guy Stalder. There remained about four days cutting in the field right next to the granaries. The truck was parked away from the granary, the crew left for supper at the house two miles away.
