MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DANIELS COUNTY, MONTANA, HELD AUGUST 7, 8, AND 21, 2023.

REGULAR MEETING

August 7, 9:00 o’clock a.m.

The Board met in regular session, Commissioners Linder, Humbert and Lund were present with the clerk.

The meeting was called to order. Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Commissioner Lund made a motion to approve the agenda, Commissioner Linder seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Commissioner Humbert made a motion to approve July 2023 minutes. Commissioner Lund seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

The Board reviewed the officer reports for July 2023.

The Board approved JV# 8547 through 8550, 8552-8553.

The Board reviewed theTreasurer’s Securities for July 2023 with the Independence Bank.

The Board approved payroll for July, 2023.

The Board of Health met with the Board. Present were, Karla Hanson, Mary Danelson, Connie Wittak, Burl Bowler, LeeAnn Danelson, Teilor Fishell and the three Commissioners. The Board of Health presented a comprehensive pay scale for the public health employees.After much discussion, Commissioner Humbert thanked the Board of Health for going to the work to devise the pay schedule. He would like them to come back with a clearer pay scale and a plan for evaluating the employees. Approval of the pay scale will be put on the agenda for the next meeting on August 21, 2023.

LeeAnn Danelson presented the subcontracts with Sheridan,Valley and Roosevelt Counties for the tobacco program. Commissioner Humbert made a motion to sign the subcontracts, Commissioner Lund seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Shawna Lowe, TAC Officer, met with the Board regarding appointing an alternate TAC Officer, The Board okayed that but without a pay increase. She let them know that ICEMT out of Billings will be here on August 14th to put in the equipment they can, that there is emergency medic...
