Mary Machart of Culbertson, MT was the speaker for the 7th annual Suicide Prevention/Bully Awareness/Run/ Walk, and Color Fun/Walk that was held Sunday, October 1 at Pioneer Town on the west end of Scobey. (See page 13 for Color Run/Walk pictures).

Mary wrote: “Statistics are everywhere and the numbers seem to continue to rise when talking about suicide. However, the number ‘1’ stands out. Almost everyone has been affected by suicide, if not with someone you knew personally, most likely you know someone else who has. Remember that number, 1.
