Taken from the unapproved minutes of the regular meeting of City Council, City of Scobey, Montana held Tuesday, October 10, 2023

at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall.

REGULAR MEETING

Mayor Morgan Lekvold called the meeting to order with councilmen Seth Axtman, Paul Landeraaen and Jon Baker present. Councilman Scott Fishell was absent. Also, in attendance were Nikki Larson, Danne Showers, John Leibrand, Fire Chief Wyatt Wilder, City Attorney Ben Fosland, PWD Steve Berreth and Clerk Sonya M. Southland.

Public Comment –

• John Leibrand requested clarification on the ordinance addressing the nuisance buildings, structures, and properties.

• Former Scobey Mayor, Danne Showers expressed City Business . . .

his appreciation and thankfulness to Council and City Staff for their service, stating he very much appreciates the work being done and acknowledge it’s a thankless job but stressed the importance of volunteerism and the willingness to serve and very much appreciates all they do.
