MACo Will Represent Daniels County In Statewide Lawsuit

Daniels County Commissioners approved a resolution authorizing Montana Association of Counties (MACo) represent them in a law suit broughtaboutbytheMontana Quality Education Coalition. The coalition wants the Supreme Court to make all 56 counties in Montana collect 95 mill, the maximum mills for the statewide school equalization levy.

Daniels Commissioners passed a resolution earlier this month approved to levy a 77.9 mill resolution on all property for statewide school equalization for the fiscal year of 2024.
