CORRECTION - Two issues ago in this column, we mistated the new NVIDIA that chip, that has 208 BILLION transistors on it will sell at a price tag of somewhere around $2 BILLION. Its predicessor sells for upwards of $46,000 each. We don't know how much the new chip will cost per unit, however single companies like Meta may be spending upwards of $9 billion in combinations of NVDIA chips.

NVIDIA has a $2.3 trillion market cap. It closed last Thursday at $903.56 per share, up $633.72 since the first of the year. Its 52 week high was at $974 per share. -bb
