Scobey School Levies Pass; Lund and Olson Elected

In the Tuesday, May 7 Scobey School election 530 people voted out of 922 registered voters.

Winning the two trustee seats up for grabs, incumbent Logan Olson was reelected with 367 votes; Garrett Lund, with 389, will be a newcomer to the board.

Other candidates, Michelene Lekvold netted 149 votes and Gayle May 132.

Both levies passed. The $8,844.18 general fund levy passed by more than two to one, 363 for and 154 against.

The technology levy of $25,000 passed with a smaller margin, 318 for and 191 against.
