We got a check in the mail this week from someone to pay a bill at the Leader. We think it wasn’t so much about frugality but rather for entertainment.

The check came in a pre-used envelope and the person cut the corner off the Leader envelope, which we sent the bill in, to address it to us. Musta had some old stamps they needed to get rid of as well. There were six 10¢ stamps and two 4¢ stamps to make up the current first class rate of 68¢. We blurred out the person’s return address which was one of those labels you get free in the mail. We all chuckled at our office.
