Cromwell Completes Clean Sweep During Harlem Swim Meet
The Scobey Stingrays placed fourth in last weekend’s (June 22-23) Montana Federation of Swimmers action held in the Harlem pool.
Scobey had 22 athletes attending the two-day event.
Thirteen-year-old Reid Cromwell was the big winner of the weekend for the Stingrays, placing first in all three of his races for a perfect individual score of 42 points, earning him a High-Point Award.
His clean sweep included some major dismissal of time in two of his three races. In the 200 IM he posted a 2:52.69, which was nearly 33 seconds faster than he swam the week before in the Chinook Meet. Same story in the 100-meter breaststroke race: last week in Chinook he recorded a 1:37.61 but lowered it to 1:20.10 in the Harlem pool.
