Friday, June 21 kicked off the first day of tournament action in Plentywood for the Scobey Majors Fastpitch Softball ladies.

Scobey was ranked third going into the tourney with Plentywood leading the way and Wolf Point in second.

Scobey was fortunate enough to start out the tournament playing against Poplar. It was a rainy, foggy, gloomy day but that didn’t disrupt the spirits of the Scobey girls. They came out strong in the top of the first earning a quick three outs of Poplar's first four batters.

Scobey’s bats were on fire in the first inning!
