In an email from Christi Jacobsen, Montana Secretary of State, “. . more than 5,200 new business registrations were filed in Montana during the month of July, according to the latest Montana Business Economic Report. This marks the sixth time in seven months this year that new registrations have surpassed the 5,000 mark, signaling strong economic growth and entrepreneurial spirit across the state." The political promotional email also stated, "Nearly 40,000 new businesses registered through the first seven months of 2024. In 2023, approximately 60,000 new businesses were registered, setting a new standard for the state."
