It was a big win for the Scobey varsity girls’ volleyball team due to the fact it was a District 1 conference match, which means the Spartans are sitting in first place.

It is there they would like to stay!

The Culbertson Cowgirls were the 1C opponents on Thursday, September 5, in the Scobey School large gym. In the preliminary matches the Scobey middle schoolers were 2-gamesto- 1 winners while the junior varsity girls won 3-1.

The first serve in the air for varsity match was at 7:02 p.m. and after a few volleys junior Camrie Holum slapped a hard cross-court shot where the best Culbertson could do was hit it out of bounds to the left.
