City Business . . .

Taken in part from the unapproved minutes of the regular meeting of City Council, City of Scobey, Montana held Tuesday,September24, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall. REGULAR MEETING Mayor Morgan Lekvold called the meeting to order with council members Seth Axtman, Niki Larson, Greg Crowder, and Brian French present. Also, in attendance were Utility Clerk Janet Armburst, City Attorney Ben Fosland, PWD Steve Berreth and Clerk Sonya M. Southland.

Utility Clerk Report – Utility Clerk Armbrust gave a report on the number of past due accounts. She also presented the price proposals from Black Mountain for two options to collect payments one being the ACH payment option. This option has an annual fee of $250. The other is BMS pay, this program does a lot more and includes the ACH payment option – this program automatically enters the payments and payments automatically post to their accounts. BMS Pay is a secure payment platform and would be an ad on software to our utility billing software. The annual fee for BMS Pay is $1,200.00.
