There’s one thing that can be said for the 2024 version of Scobey High School varsity girls’ volleyball team, and that is they are consistent, even when they drop a game or two in tournament play.

In District 1C action they are perfectly consistent, currently still on the top of the 12-team heap with an 8-0 record (9-0 overall).

Last week on Friday the 4th the Spartans hosted the Bainville Bulldogs and swept them in three games, racing to an 8-0 advantage in game one. The Bulldogs closed within 11-8 before the home team pulled away for a 25-15 win.

Game two saw ties at 2, 3, 5, 9, 10, 12 and 14 before the Spartans began moving away for a lead as high as 23-18 to win at 25-21.
