Board Surveys Problem Of School Congestion– A problem that has been building in Scobey Schools for the past four or five years is coming more and more to a point where solution is demanded, according to surveys being conducted by the board of trustees of School District No. 1.

Of 34 schools in the State of Montana, Scobey has the greatest average amount of pupils per teacher (35) than any other with the exception of Whitefish (37).
