Appointed State Senator– The Daniels County Board of Commissioners, by unanimous action appointed Carl Lindquist, local attorney, to the office of State Senator to fill out the unexpired term of Sherd Wilcoxon, deceased, who was elected in 1948 to a four year term. Carl will serve until January, 1953. Attorney Lindquist, who began the practice of law here more than 20 years ago, was county attorney for eight years and later served as Chief Justice of the Montana Supreme Court.
