IT WAS THE NOVEMBER 28, 2024 issue of the Daniels County Leader when we published a list of the 87 schools scattered around Daniels County during the homestead era after Daniels County was born in August of 1920. One of those was the Butte Creek School, located at the intersection of Roseberry Road, which traverses a north-south direction, and Butte Creek Road, which runs east-west. In all honesty, a photo of this school might have been published once-upon-a-time in the Leader but time will not be wasted trying to find out if it did. The Leader was out and about in that neighborhood in the recent past so a photo of the school was snapped. So you believe it needs a title? No problem... Old School. Think
