Things, Ideas & People . . .

When did the Daniels County Leader go from being a yellow-paper newspaper to a white-paper newspaper with full-color capabilities? The final yel low-paper edition was “in the mail without fail every Thursday morning” March 10, 2016, or nine years almost to the day. The first white-newsprint paper was the March 17, 2016 issue (Happy St. Patrick’s Day!) but with no color, just black and white. The following issue on March 24, 2016 the Leader began using color and has done so with every issue since, including the one being read right now. — mike
