Held Saturday, April 5, at the Havre Middle School, there were approximately 850 athletes competing representing 35 schools.

The Scobey girls varsity team represented extremely well by placing third with 49 points out of 25 total teams. Only host Class A Havre, finishing first with 114 points, and Class C Fort Benton, with 52 points, were better on the day. Rounding out the top 10 were Chester-Joplin-Inverness with 42 points, Shelby 41, Chinook 36, Denton-Geyser-Stanford 31, Whitewater 30, Turner 23 and Conrad 18.

Scoring points (10-86-4-2-1) for the Spartans were: senior Kaytie Aanstad in the shot put and discus; senior Mya Green in the 3200-meter run; senior Mady Willis in the 100 and 300 hurdles and pole vault; junior Camrie Holum in the 800-meter run; freshman Ava Stentoft in the shot put; Green, Holum, McKenna Nieskens and Willis in the 4x400 relay.

Putting up the only points for the Scobey varsity boys, who finished in a 3-way tie for 15th out of 30 teams, was Konner Oller, who placed second in the 400-meter dash (a mere 34-hundredths of a second from capturing first place).
