Daniels County Gets $82+K Grant For CAD/RMS; But 911 System Still Needs To Be Replaced

Daniels County was re- cently notified by Montana Department of Administration and 911 Advisory Council that a grant has been approved for $82,805 to Daniels County for 2021.

Written by Undersheriff Steve Williams, the grant award includes the funding to be used for purchase of a Computer Aided Dispatch & Records Management System (CAD/RMS).

The new system involves a computer server and software that will give the Daniels County Dispatch Center in the Sheriff's office its first ever computer records management system, rather than paper and file cabinets.
