Marian Dickman 1925 – 2021
Marian Thea Dickman was born June 5, 1925, to Metilda and Hilmer Knudson and settled in Peerless, Montana. After graduating from Peerless High in 1943, she attended Billings, Montana’s Teacher School and taught in a one-room schoolhouse during the war.
Later, Marian, her sister Goldie, and her husband Howard started a band together. Marian was very musical and played the clarinet, saxophone and piano, but Marian also had a beautiful voice, and loved to sing to Patsy Cline.
