MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DANIELS COUNTY, MONTANA, HELD OCTOBER 4, 4, AND 18, 2021.

REGULAR MEETING

October 4, 9 o’clock a.m.

The Board met in regular session, Commissioner Humbert, Commissioner Lund and Commissioner Linder were present with the clerk.

Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Commissioner Lund made a motion to approve the agenda, Commissioner Linder seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Commissioner Linder made a motion to approve the September 2021 minutes, Commissioner Lund seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

The Board approved payroll for September 2021.

The Board signed the Comprehensive County Plan for Substance Abuse Prevention, Rehabilitation and Treatment for alcohol tax distribution.

Duane Anderson, Sheriff and Logan Olson, County Attorney, met with the Board regarding a personnel issue.

Logan Olson, met with the Board regarding liability for training exercises and that MACo would prefer the trainings were announced but they don’t have to be. MACo also suggested that the volunteer patients sign waivers.

Mike Hammerly joined the meeting. He mentioned that the 911 system is outdated.

Logan mentioned the lack of confidentiality of the extension office and sheriff office being in the same building.
