Victim Accidental

Shooting– Lawrence Saunders, 38, of Whitetail was brought to Scobey last Friday afternoon mortally wounded by a bullet from a 32 Winchester lever action rifle. He expired

within minutes of his arrival

at Dr. Collinson's office.

The tragic accident occurred when he was at a slaughterhouse west of Whitetail with Floyd Wiley and Leonard Stagg. Saunders was outside the slaughterhouse and stepped into the line of fire while a bull

was being killed.
