Power Plant Promised

Some of the best news in many years for Scobey, Flaxville and Whitetail was heard when it was learned that Montana-Dakota Utilities company has promised to install an auxiliary power plant in Scobey next fall.

The plant will be used on occasions when lines into the city fail, and to send power out on other lines in this area when places like Flaxville and Whitetail are cut off from the east.

Now operating at Dickinson, ND the 1200 h.p. six-cylinder diesel auxiliary plant will be moved to Scobey as soon as possible.
