Darrell Hagen 1942 – 2022

Darrell Charles Hagen, 79, of Helena, died March 11, 2022, from a spontaneous brain bleed and complications following brain surgery.

Born July 22, 1942 in Noonan, North Dakota, Darrell spent his childhood years in Crosby, ND, moving with his family to Scobey, MT in 1952. He graduated from Scobey High School in 1960. His parents were Eleanor (Rude) and Tom Hagen.

After graduating from high school, Darrell enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. While in the Corps, he served in Japan (1961), South Vietnam (1962) and Okinawa (1963) with the First Marine Air Wing.

After an honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Darrell graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in mathematics in 1968....
